It is also important to note that the thread does have a shiny sheen, although this is slight. The thread measures 27.3 yards in length and comes in a single skein measuring. Despite being thicker, this thread does not fray easily. Overall, the DMC Pearl Cotton Skein is a great product that is particularly useful for embroidery.
