The game feels well-balanced and fair after repeated playings, even with experts and newbies together. The game has a beautiful 1950s muted color design, and the cards are printed on good quality stock with high-quality cardboard tokens. The text in the instruction manual is short, precise, and clear, with descriptive pictorial examples. The game board's flavor texts are well-written and enjoyable. The game has an online instruction manual, includes reference cards for each player, and a verbose card glossary in the manual. The game easily plays with two or four players and has an entirely different feel with four players. Although the iconography and artwork could be more intuitive, and some people may find the rules a bit fiddly, it is still an enjoyable game that can act as a palate cleanser between longer games.
