    Answer: Battery only unless you buy a separate mains adaptor.
  • Question: Can you play and listen to audio books on this item?

    Answer: If your Audiobooks are on Cassette yes. But I'd highly recommend finding an old high quality one which has been serviced.
  • Question: Does this record voice?

    Answer: Sure. It will produce a low quality, muffled sounding recording of voice if you hold it close to your face. Any further than arms length and it struggles to pick up any sound at all.
  • Question: Does the unit come with a blank cassette to record to?

    Answer: No it doesn’t and the cassette playback often is distorted and slow. You really get what you pay for here.
  • Question: Is there an audio cassette player/recorder that will allow me to simply record tape to tape?

    Answer: Not with this machine. You need a double tape player to do that.
  • Question: Can I record from the radio?

    Answer: Only from radio it seems, hope this helps.
  • Question: Where can I buy the mains?

    Answer: You can just get batteries but your best bet is to call into an electrical shop.
  • Question: Can I record music from a laptop onto a tape using this cassette player (assuming I have the correct cable to connect between the walkman/laptop)?

    Answer: No you cannot, only from the radio in the Walkman.
